Poker Royalty In London

Poker Royalty recently announced that is has just launched its London office in order to manage its Europe-based clients.

Poker RoyaltyThe major player company representing the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Patrik Antonius or Phil Hellmuth, among others, just opened a new office in London this week.

The main reason behind this decision was to better manage the European client base; however, the Asian market is also mentioned as beneficiary, given the fact that these two markets have manifested the most significant growth in the poker industry as of late.

Regarding this new move, Poker Royalty's CEO, Said Balsbaugh, had this to say:
"In the last few years, we have seen tremendous growth of poker events and projects in Europe, Asia and South America. While we believe Las Vegas will always be the center of the poker world, there is no denying that poker is a global game and the world's best players now have international opportunities available to them. Having boots on the ground in Europe positions us to be able to capitalize on those opportunities and better serve our clients."

The London office will be under the lead of Jim Erwood, since he will be the Director of European Operations for Poker Royalty. Formerly known FIFA soccer agent and player contract manager, Erwood's experience is expected to help him focus on the European market as a whole, but especially on its key players that are currently there.
