PokerStars.com EPT Vilamoura - PokerStrategists Stranded on Day 3
Three PokerStrategists started on Day 3, with only 69 players remaining. Among them were Allanon and PokerNoob from Team PokerStrategy.com
69 players were in at the start of Day 3. At the end of the day, only 24 remained. Unfortunately there was no PokerStrategists among them.
Allanon from Team PokerStrategy.com was the first to go. He busted out in 63rd position.
Vedevas followed in the most painful finish of them all, the bubble. He was out in 49th place.
PokerNoob was the most successful finisher. He ended in 32nd place, which was well in the money. He was rewarded €8,589 for his three days of play. This means PokerNoob cashed in the last three EPT Main Events in a row. He also only played three EPT Main Events this season, making it three out of three.
Nazgul who already busted out of the Main Event three days earlier joined the €2,000 side event yesterday and made it to the final table. We will report the Final Table live in our forum. Don't miss it!

PokerNoob Losing Stacks
Yesterday we posted that PokerNoob was building stacks, today they went over the counter. PokerNoob played today for five hours without doubling up, having exciting all-ins or making awesome call downs. He saw his stack shrink from 230,000 down to a little above a 100,000. When the blinds were at 3,000/6,000 he was dealt AKo. UTG in the hand limped and PokerNoob raised him. It was however a limp raise all-in and PokerNoob made a sigh and called. He was shown pocket Kings and received no help from the board.
PokerNoob eliminated in 32nd place for €8,589. After the day was over we interviewed PokerNoob. We asked him how he feels about cashing three times in a row, but never getting in the really sweet money. That and many more questions..
Allanon Quickly Out

He claims to have been set up by the dealer getting dealt a monster (9-9), but Villain A holding pocket Queens and Villain B pocket Kings. No help for Allanon and he was only left 3 big blinds to play with.
Allanon actually doubled to 7 big blinds. He then jammed it in with A9s on the button and got called by QTs. He didn't win the hand and he was requested to leave the table. Allanon placed 63rd.
Vedevas Bubble Boy

Vedevas did a very good job representing the Russian PokerStrategy.com community. He started the day with 95,700 in chips and did a very good job of accumulating more at the start of the day. He grinded his stack up to 160,000 halfway through the day. When the bubble time came along he check raised it all-in with AQo on a Q-9-9 board. The opponent in the hand talked himself into a call saying he got too many chips to fold the hand and ended up calling with KTs. A Jack on the river was a disaster for Vedevas as it completed villain's straight. Vedevas went home empty handed.
