Teng Wins 8th Leg of the GUKPT

The 23-year old online poker pro Andy Teng took down 226 players and claimed the 8th leg of the Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour trophy, winning almost £70,000.

The G Casino on the Isle of Thanet in Kent hosted the 8th Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour, where Andy Teng emerged victorious, claiming the £68,380 prize.

226 players joined the 8th Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour (GUKPT) last weekend and 23 year old Andy Teng was one of them. He managed to reach the final table, where he went heads-up with online pro Jamie Brown.

Even though Teng was not the clear favourite, as he started the heads-up with $400,000 in chips compared to Brown's $1,800,000, he still managed to tip the balance in his favour, winning the entire event.

The last hand of the evening had Teng raising with pocket eights. Brown went all-in with pocket fours and was forced to admit defeat, as the board did not help him improve his hand.
