Trump adds poker to his portfolio
Donald Trump is a man who rarely minces his words. When Trump believes in an idea, he usually stops at nothing to get the job done.
This is great news for poker, as Bloomberg yesterday reported that the US business magnate has his eyes set on forming an online gaming company.
Reportedly joining forces with New York hedge fund manager Mark Lasry, Trump is planning on taking over the online gaming space should legislation pass in the US.
His daughter Ivanka spoke confidently about her father’s prospects, stating "It's just a matter of time" and that "it would be a tremendous source of taxable revenue for states or the federal government and an enormous generator of jobs".

FTP’s woes grow
Beleagured online site Full Tilt Poker received more bad news this week on hearing that they are facing yet another class action lawsuit from disgruntled customers.
The LA Times reported that Lary Kennedy and Greg Omotoy have filed a complaint against the troubled operator based on accusations of fraud and "a packet of racketeering".
The duo are seeking a whopping $900 million in damages from FTP following the confiscation of more than $80,000 from their accounts back in 2009.
EPT San Remo begins
One of the most popular destinations on the European Poker Tour springs to life today as EPT San Remo begins the first day of a week long festival of poker.
The main event kicks off at 2pm today with a €4,600 + €300 buy-in. Numbers are expected to be up from last year's field of 988 players which saw Brit Rupert Elder take glory pick up €930,000 for first place.
Good luck to all PokerStrategists taking part and don't forget to post updates in our San Remo forum thread if you’re playing!

High stakes corner
The last 24 hours have seen some solid action over at PokerStars where nosebleed rivals Ilari "IlariFIN" Sahamies and Ta-Chi "socutiesf" Geeng have been battling fiercely.
The past day belongs to Sahamies, who booked a $119,564 winning session at the $50/$100 PLO tables according to HSDB.
Geeng was stung for $119,840 over the day, but you can be sure this isn't the last of the battle!
