The FTOPS IX Starts Today

Today, the 'Full Tilt Online Poker Series' starts into its ninth edition. 25 events and $15M guaranteed are waiting for the players. The $500 Main Event starts on August 17th and has a prize pool of at least $2.5M.

The kick-off on Full Tilt Poker will be a $200 No-Limit Hold'em tournament tonight at 21:00 ET (3:00 CET). Host will be Allen Cunningham. The guaranteed prize pool sums up to $1M.

Tomorrow, bracelet winner Martin Kläser will act as host of a FTOPS tourney for the first time. The $240 Pot-Limit Omaha/8 Knockout Event on August 7th is ideal for European players as it starts at 14:00 ET (20:00 CET). The German Jens Vörtmann also got his own event with the $500 H.O.R.S.E tournament, as well as Italy's Max Pescatori with the $200 HA (half PL Hold'em, half PL Omaha) tourney on the same day.

Besides the Main Event, there will certainly be other highlights, amongst them the $500 Heads-Up Event on August 10th, the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Short-handed tourney on August 11th as well as the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller Event on August 16th.

Added up are countless other tournaments, like e.g. the $200 Stud Event, the $300 RAZZ- or the $300 Mixed Hold'em tourneys.
