Tony G Joins Team PartyPoker
PartyPoker has just announced that Antanas Guoga, better known as Tony G, has just joined the ranks of Team Party. He will also take part in the PartyPoker Premier League IV, which is scheduled to take place in Febraury.
Antanas "Tony G" Guoga has just signed deal with PartyPoker and he will represent Team Party in live and online events. "The Mouth From Down Under" has also confirmed that he will participate in the Premier League which will take place in Las Vegas this February.
Tony G is known for his table talk and his aggressive play. A player with a big ego, he has more than $4,000,000 in live tournament winnings.
Some of his notable cashes include the first place in the WPT Bad Boys of Poker II in 2006 and the second place in the 2006 PartyPoker Intercontinental Poker Championship. Additionally, he has cashed 15 times at the World Series of Poker.
Tony G at the Premier League IV
Team Party's newest addition will take part in the PartyPoker Premiere League IV, along with other notable names such as Phil Hellmuth, JC Tran, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Luke "FullFlush" Schwartz and Roland De Wolfe. The event hostess will be none other than Kara Scott, who also joined Team Party not long ago."I cannot wait to start playing for Team Party on the circuit," said Tony. "I am also really excited about the Premier League in February - it is the best event in poker in my eyes. After finishing runner-up and third in the last two years, the title has to be mine! I just hope my rivals have the heart and commitment to the game to stop me!"
A PartyGaming spokesman said: "We’re delighted to welcome Tony to Team Party. Tony is undoubtedly one of poker’s biggest characters in the game – a personal deal for him made huge sense."
Tony G joins Team Party alongside Mike Sexton, Kara Scott, Ian Frazer, Bodo Sbrzesny, Remy Biechel, Stewart Scott and Felipe "Mojave" Ramos.
The PartyPoker Premier League IV is a televised event which will take place in Las Vegas, between the 12th and 18th of February. Last year, the Premier League III was won by JC Tran, who will return to defend his title.

How does this work with Tony G poker? Seems an odd way of promoting his poker room... odd.#9

#8 Quote from the Tony G Poker site:"Tonygpoker.com is pleased to announce its merger with major online poker room Noble Poker."
Seems with all so many things to do - pokernews.com sending russians to Russia, kissing party poker asses - he couldn't have pulled out his own poker room.

You should rely him, because he is calm and smart man. I'm from Lithuania so I know how we look like, we are very generous when no one touches us. But if someone hurts us our palms start sweating and we punch back more then we get.We are born to save ourselves and we don't let noone to hurt us from inside. Thanks. Best wishes, no offence.

TonyG knows how to make money with poker while not playing poker. That's why he doesn't care about his image at the table. But hmmm... strange that nobody's seen him at the High Stakes Poker show tables.
