With the first ever World Poker Tour event to take place in Ireland concluded, we reflect on the PKR-sponsored WPT Ireland event that saw David "Dubai" Shallow defeat a field of 338 players to walk away with €202,680, a seat to the $25,000 WPT Championship and the World Poker Tour bracelet.

The PKR WPT Ireland took place in Dublin from January 5 - January 9.

eliminate two players and give him a monstrous chip lead
