WPT: John Phan Wins

The US American John Phan won the Main Event of the 'Legends of Poker' in the Bicycle Casino. In the heads-up he defeated Amit Makhija and thus secured his first WPT title.

Six of once 373 players took their seat at the final table of the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship Event at around 4PM local time. The big favourite: John Phan, for whom it already was the fourth final table at the World Poker Tour (WPT). Trong Nguyen, Amit Makhija, Paul Smith, Zachary Clark and Kyle Wilson reached it for the first time.

In the decisive hand, he already had a clear chip lead with almost 9M chips in comparison to Makhija with about 2M. The blinds were at 150,000/300,000 with a 40,000 ante.
