WPT London: Phil Ivey and Erik Seidel on Top

The World Poker Tour in London kicked off and Day 1A is already in the books. Erik Seidel is the chip leader with a stack of 226,200 chips, while Phil Ivey finished the day ranked 4th with 146,200 chips.

Phil IveyThe Palm Beach Casino is hosting the £5,000 + £300 WPT London event and several notable names have already joined the action. According to the PartyPoker blog, only 31 players remain after Day 1A, with Erik Seidel leading the pack.

Seidel managed to build his starting stack to 226,200 chips, enough to give him a rather comfortable chip lead over the rest.

Phil Ivey (pictured right) also had a good day in London. Despite having his stack size shift several times, he ended the first playday with the 4th largest stack of 146,200 chips.

There are several other known pros that made it through, including Praz Bansi, Luke "FullFlush" Schwartz, Huck Seed and Andrew Robl.

Day 1B has just started and will see some another batch of players making their way to the tables. Amongst them are the likes of Chris Moorman, Neil Channing and more.
