WPT London: Safina leads the field; fabstinho 2nd in Chips
PokerStrategist Fabian "fabstinho" Quoss was able to finish Day 3 in second place. Meanwhile, Tonio "kernassi" Roeder has hit the rails. 16 players remain in the tournament and are still in the hunt for the £273,783 first prize.
With only 16 players remaining, chipleader and Italian PartyPoker pro Giovanni Safina is currently in the best position for Day 4. About 1,271,000 chips guarantee him the number one starting position today.
Meanwhile, yesterday's runner-up
kernassi has hit the rails. This leaves
fabstinho (pictured right) as the last PokerStrategist standing, as
winkiac and
lechuckpoker were also eliminated throughout Day 3.
Big mouth Luke Schwartz was also eliminated when he moved all in preflop with TT and got called by AQ. The turn showed a Q and Schwartz had to hit the rails.
Then again, luck was not on Huck Seed's side. When he also moved all in with AQ he ran into Jake Cody's 88. The board brought no help for the Full Tilt Poker pro and he also had to say good bye.
Fabstinho 2nd in Chips
With 720,000 chips, fabstinho is in a good position to reach the final table. With six players to go he only needs to survive a few more blind levels until he gets close to the big money. So far, he has already claimed at least £8,848.The WPT London continues today at 11:00 GMT with its Day 4.
