WSOP 2010 Final Nine Revealed

The World Series of Poker Main Event reached Day 8 on Sunday, when the 27 remaining survivors sat down to play for a seat in the November finals. Read on to see who the final nine players are.

Michael MizrachiThe 2010 World Series Main Event saw a total of 7,319 players joining the tables throughout eight playdays. This year's Main Event champion will take home a prize of $8,944,138, and the payouts will be in the 7-digit area for all but the 9th place.

Duhamel chip leader, Mizrachi in contention

Sunday was the day that decided this year's November Nine and Jonathan Duhamel emerged as the chip leader after 18 hours of play. He will be back in November with a stack of 65,975,000 chips.

Amongst these nine players is also Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (pictured right), who had a very profitable 2010 so far, taking down the $50,000 Poker Player's Championship for a payout of $1,559,046. He will start with the 7th largest stack at the table.

The Main Event final table will be played out starting with November 6, with the final two players playing heads-up two days later. The blinds will start at 250,000/500,000 and 50,000 ante.
