Four PokerStrategists go deep but fall short
HhCMotU23 came into Day 6 with high hopes of making it through another day, but unfortunately he was shown the exit early on by fellow PokerStrategist HenrikX. Next to go was swordfish007, who had been nursing a short stack for the better part of the last few days. He moved all in with 6-6 but ran into pocket aces and pocket queens.Yoghi meanwhile could not get anything going on Day 6. He had been losing a lot of small pots and his last hand came when he was down to 860k chips. On a flop of
Panny1's (pictured left) elimination came just three spots after Yoghi had hit the rails. Panny1 open raised with T-T, got one caller and another player attempted a squeeze. Panny1 decided to go all in, but unfortunately the cold caller was trapping with K-K. The K-T-5-9-K was no good for Panny1, and he was sent to the rails in 120th place.
HenrikX ends roller coaster day on a high
After eliminating HhCMotU23, HenrikX was involved in a three way preflop all in, holding Q-Q against K-K and J-J. The best hand held up but HenrikX only lost a small pot as the player with jacks had him covered. He paid off the short stack but recovered most of his losses from the big stack. In the final level of Day 6, HenrikX first lost a pot after going all in with 2nd pair on the flop. His opponent called with top pair, but thankfully HenrikX had him well covered. Not long later, HenrikX returned the favour by going all in preflop against the same opponent with A-K against Q-Q. A king hit the flop and HenrikX got back more chips than he lost in the earlier pot.
