WSOP 2010: Jonathan Little Makes the Money & New Team Blog

Jonathan Little made his third cash in the World Series of Poker this year after making the money in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event. RobbieV also gave some insight into his personal diet regime in his new Team Blog post.

BongBob PokerStrategy.com tournament video producer JonathanLittle went into Day 2 of the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event as the chip leader. He hung onto his lead for most of the day, but eventually hit the rails deep into Day 2.

Little finished in 30th place for $6,630 and made his third cash in this year's World Series of Poker. He also finished deep and in the money in event #9, another Pot Limit Omaha event earlier in the series, and event #3.

Team PokerStrategy.com members AdminBongBob (pictured right) and AdminNazgul also took part in this event, with several other PokerStrategists, but they did not make it into Day 2.

Nenad Medic holds a commanding chip lead

JonathanLittle had started well and expanded his chip lead in the earlier part of Day 2, but his luck turned after the dinner break. In the end, Little put his tournament life on the line by moving all in for his last 15 big blinds with top two pair, but he ran into top set.

Just 9 players remain in Event #20 and Nenad Medic holds a commanding close to 1 million chip lead against his nearest rival. With 1.55 million chips to his name, Medic has over 3 times the number of chips of second placed John Barch. They will return to the final table to compete for the $256,919 top prize.

Meanwhile, the $10,000 2-7 Lowball World Championship ended with David Baker winning $294,314 for his first place finish. German Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer finished third. The $2,000 Fixed Limit event also concluded and Eric Buchman picked up his first WSOP bracelet and $203,607 for his efforts.
