Huge double-ups for Panny1 and Yoghi

Yoghi Panny1, who had been inching his way up to the 1 million chip mark, won a crucial coin flip after the dinner break to put him among the chip leaders. Jean-Robert Bellande had made a 3-bet squeeze after Panny1 had called a raise. The original raiser went all in, Panny1 called for all his chips and Bellande got out of the way.

It was a classic confrontation, with Panny1's A-K going up against his opponent's 9-9. Panny1 went in as a big underdog  as Bellande had just folded A-K. An ace showed up on the flop anyway to keep Panny1 in the main event. That also took his chip count to over 1.8 million chips.

Before that, Yoghi (pictured left) was the first PokerStrategist to go past the 1 million chip mark. In the first hour of play, Yoghi flopped top set holding K-K on a K-T-3 flop. He got it all in on the turn against Sharon Shorr who held T-T. A short stack had also gone all in preflop with A-K. Yoghi was up to 1.2 million chips after the hand.

Day 6 will start with blinds at 6,000/12,000 with a 2,000 ante. 21 year old Evan Lamprea is the current chip leader with 3,564,000 chips, while former German basketball pro and a Supernova Elite on PokerStars, Michael Skender, is second with 3,527,000. Alexander Kostritsyn and Johnny Chan are also in the top 10 at the end of Day 5.
