WSOP Event #51: Filippi And Nguyen Eliminated On Day 2
Both Amnon Filippi and Men Nguyen couldn't make it through the second play day of the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event. Only 30 players survived through the day, as they will continue to race for the title on Day 3.

Day 2 of the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event saw 349 players returning to
their seats. With roughly 30 of them being down to less than 10 big
blinds, "all-in" was heard quite frequently during the early stages of
play and with so much action at the tables, it didn't take long before
the bubble was reached.In fact, three players were eliminated on the last hand before the money. Chris Cooke, was one of those unfortunate players even though he was looking relatively safe with his pocket jacks. He moved all-in for about 21,000 from the small blind and Jeffrey Vanchiro called with
Amnom Filippi made it into the money but he was probably hoping to reach the final table or at least get close to it. However, his day came to an end after his
only 30 players remain before day 3
Men Nguyen didn't make it much further either, as he was also seen
packing his bags before the play was concluded for the day. On a flop

, Terry Fleischer moved all-in and Men Nguyen called all-in for 68,000. Fleischer showed

While it's nice to see from time to time pocket rockets cracked, it is also nice to see when the best hand pre-flop actually holds up.
