With just a few days left before the World Series of Poker starts, it's time to introduce the Team PokerStrategy.com roster. We will also be in Las Vegas to provide you with daily news, pictures and videos.

Las Vegas
We'll be there soon
The 2010 World Series of Poker is set to start in a matter of days. Thousands of poker players from all over the world will be going to the Rio Casino in Las Vegas and Team PokerStrategy.com members will also take part.

The two month-long tournament series will feature a total of 57 events, as well as the Tournament of Champions invitational. Earlier this week we talked about the WSOP in the two previous parts, so if you haven't read them yet, click the links below:

Also, we will provide you with live updates in our forum ticker, as well as daily recaps, pictures, videos and more. Edwin, also known as elhh82, will be in Las Vegas and he will tell you how Team PokerStrategy.com is doing. He already wrote his first entry in the Team blog, which you can find below:

Regarding the team roster for this year's World Series of Poker, please note that AdminBokkie and AdminScHnibL0r will not play for personal reasons, while AdminCuCbKu is unable to attend due to visa issues. AdminTrader has decided to retire from offline tournaments and will not be part of the team any longer.

It was one year ago that we launched Team PokerStrategy.com, just before the 2009 World Series of Poker. The team has grown ever since, so let's see who will represent us at the WSOP:

Admin PokerNoob
PokerNoobPokerNoob started playing poker back in 2006 using the PokerStrategy.com free starting capital. In just a few years, he became a successful tournament player and he is now considered one of the best players in Germany.

PokerNoob's managed to win several notable online tournaments, such as the PokerStars Super Tuesday ($68,692), the Sunday 500 ($91,706), or the PartyPoker Sunday 300k GTD ($49,029). Recently, he also won a $1,575 SCOOP heads-up event for $168,750.

The last year was pretty good to him so far, as he cashed in several European Poker Tour stops. He finished 6th in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller Event for a payout of $108,045, but his most notable achievement to date is winning the €25,000 High Roller Event at EPT Monte Carlo, where he won €956,000 ($1,272,698).

Please note that PokerNoob's participation is not confirmed yet, but we'll wish him "Good luck!" now anyway.

Admin Nazgul
Nazgul Starting out in 2007 with the PokerStrategy.com free $50 as well, Nazgul is one of the "veterans" of the team, as he was part of the original line-up. He hasn't reached any six-figure tournament winnings yet, but don't let that think he won't do it anytime soon.

He has shown some impressive results in his online career, final tabling the PokerStars Sunday Million twice ($41,000 and $80,000 respectively), as well as the Full Tilt Poker $750k GTD ($23,500) and the Sunday Million Warm-up ($22,500).

In terms of live winnings, he finished 74th in last year's WSOP Main Event, pocketing $68,979. He also placed 3rd in a $5,000 event at the PCA for $53,955. Can he repeat or even surpass his WSOP performance? We'll just have to wait and see.

Admin Allanon
Allanon Allanon is also part of the Team PokerStrategy.com first roster. Having started with our free $50 capital, he played some cash games until he realized that tournaments are more appealing to him.

In 2008, he switched to MTTs and it proved to be a good choice. He won the PokerStars Sunday Million for $184,500, as well as the Super Tuesday for $71,750.

In terms of live winnings, he cashed in four EPT stops, but he also managed to finish in the money in a $10,000 Pot Limit Hold'em event at the 2009 WSOP. Having quite some MTT experience, let's wish Daniel the best of luck and see what this year's series has in store for him.

Admin BongBob
Bongbob BongBob is one of the newest addition to the team, having joined us in December last year. However, he was already playing poker professionally for two years before that. He came across PokerStrategy.com and started playing low stakes SnGs. After winning his first $5 MTT, he realized that's what he wants to play, so he kept going.

In 2009, he reached Supernova Elite status on PokerStars and he also won a $500+R SCOOP event, cashing a whopping $210,805. Not bad, right? Well, a few weeks ago he managed to top that achievement, finishing 6th in the $10,000 + $300 SCOOP Main Event and earning $261,375.

With such nice online achievements, you could say it's time for BongBob to show his live poker skill as well, and what better place to do this than the WSOP?

Admin RobbieV
RobbieV A former StarCraft player, RobbieV quit the game in 2004 to focus more on poker. He also joined us in Gibraltar in 2008, as he started working for PokerStrategy.com as community manager.

In May 2009, we published an interview with him. The topic? PokerStrategy.com launches its professional team and RobbieV would be their manager. From that point on, he was the one working behind the scenes to make sure the team is working well.

As if that wasn't enough, he will act as both team manager and player for this year's WSOP, to show his poker skills as well. It will be tough for him, but we're sure he can do it.

We wish all our players the best of luck in Las Vegas. Stay tuned to our news page and forums, as we will follow the team's WSOP performance and bring you all the details.
