The finalists of the little Hold'em event of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) have been determined. Chip leader is the 20 years young Adam Junglen from Ohio. PokerStrategist Christoph Bommes became the final table bubble boy.

Adam Junglen Chip Leader
Again, I’m extremely tired and play resumes in like 10 hours, so this will be brief.

But, I’m chip leader going into the final table of the WSOPE 1.5k. I’m playing very well, and am super-motivated. The stacks aren’t that deep at the final table, but I’m confident in my play with this type of structure,
commented Adam Junglen in his blog about his chip lead.

Adam JunglenIn the web, the online pro is known by the nicks 'AJunglen7' (PokerStars) and 'A_Junglen' (Full Tilt Poker), and already celebrated some amazing successes. Especially in 2007, Junglen caught some attention when he won the Sunday Million in July. Not even one month later, he finished third at the Full Tilt $1k Monday. Furthermore, another final table participation at the Million and countless cashes in smaller tournaments join the list.

As Junglen isn't 21 years old yet, his live performances limited themselves to a few spots in Europe so far. At last year's WSOPE, he already received some attention at the TV table, but he didn't make it into the money. However, at the EPT Barcelona 2007 he finished on sixth place.

Now, the participation at the final of the first WSOPE event in 2008 follows. With a bracelet, the US American would already be counted amongst the shooting stars in the American poker community with his 20 years - without ever having entered an American casino.

Unfortunately, there will be no finalist from our community. Christoph 'kaufhauszombie' Bommes from Korschenbroich, Germany stumbled right before the finish line. Finishing 10th, he now has the dubious honour of holding the title Final Table Bubble Boy. His consolidation prize amounted to £13,222.

Other known victims before the final table were amongst others Andy Bloch in 15th place, who was eliminated by Jesper Hougaard after moving all-in pre-flop from the big blind with following an open-raise from the button by the Dane with . Daniel Negreanu dropped out in 24th place when Christoph won a coin flip against him.

Today Final Table and H.O.R.S.E. Event

Today, the £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event begins while the final table of the £1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event is played out.

Thomas Bihl won the tournament last year and thus took the first bracelet given away on non-American ground back to Germany, leaving behind 104 further participants. At the final table, he prevailed against players like Kirk Morrison (Rank 3), Chris Ferguson (Rank 4) and Alexander Kravchenko (Rank 5).
