593 players paid €10,400 for a seat in the WSOPE Main Event and a chance to win life-changing money. All of them had their eyes on the €1,400,000 first place prize, but after 4 days of play just 8 players can still potentially win it.

Here's a brief description of those 8 players, followed by each one's chip count and home country:

• Elio Fox- 2011 Bellagio Cup winner known as "smokrokflok" online. (3,990,000 - USA)
Jake Cody- Triple Crown winning poker pro with over $2.6 million in career earnings. (2,685,000 - Great Britain)
Dermot Blain- 2009 APPT Macau winner. (2,405,000 - Ireland)
Chris Moorman- Online legend known as 'Moorman1' with $7.4 million in online earnings. (2,230,000 - Great Britain)
Brian Roberts- $165K in live earnings since 2006. (2,000,000 - USA)
Max Silver- $367K in earnings since 2010, including 4th place in the shootout at this WSOPE. (1,825,000 - Great Britain)
Moritz Kranich- Pro with WPT and EPT wins and over $2 million in earnings; a victory in this tournament would complete his Triple Crown. (1,660,000 - Germany)
• Shawn Buchanan- Pro with a WPT win and three WSOP 2nd place finishes for over $3 million in earnings. (1,015,000 - Canada)

Patrik's Unlucky Ending

Patrik Antonius bubbled the final table in a very unfortunate manner. Preflop, Chris Moorman went all-in on a 4-bet, and Antonius snap-called him with AhQd. Moorman showed As7c. There were about 1.9 million chips in the pot.

The board ran 8h6c6s8d7d, giving Moorman the winning 2 pair. Antonius was annoyed when the turn made a split pot likely, and disgusted when he saw the river. Patrik lost his remaining 3 big blinds almost immediately after, and went home with €90,000.

Check out the table below to find out where the rest of the top 25 players finished.

The final table of the WSOPE Main Event will begin today at 12:00 CET, and most regions can watch the live stream at WSOP.com.

Caesar's Cup Outcome: Team America (Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier, and Ben Lamb) defeated Team Europe (Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Tony G, Jake Cody, Gus Hansen, and Max Lykov) in a short series of matches with interesting formats. Phil Hellmuth beat Max Lykov in the final heads-up match to give his team the Caesar's Cup victory.
