WSOPE: Stars Line Up At The H.O.R.S.E. Event

The H.O.R.S.E. Event of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) enticed countless pros to the tables. Phil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth put themselves at the front of the field.

However, also behind the two leaders, there's a star-studded field of players. Amongst other pros, Isaac Haxton, Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Howard Lederer, Patrik Antonius, Max Pescatori, Robert Williamson III, Brandon Cantu, Marc Goodwin, Andy Bloch, Dario Alioto, John Juanda, Jason Gray, John Phan and Andreas Hoivold made it into Day 2.

Not everybody survived though. On the victims list you find several famous names like Doyle Brunson, Mike Matusow, David Levi, David Benyamine, Chris Ferguson, Mike McDonald, Erik Seidel, Allen Cunningham, Jason Potter, Vanessa Rousso, Dave Ulliott, Thor Hansen, Andy Black, Chad Brown, Roland de Wolfe and Shaun Deeb. Last year's Winner already out

Naturally, the winner of last year's H.O.R.S.E. event Thomas Bihl from Germany stepped up to defend his title. However, he did not make it through Day 1.

Today Day 2

Today at 3:00 PM, Day 2 of the tournament kicked off. According to the plan, the eight finalists are to be determined for the final table which will be played out tomorrow. Latest victim is actually Barry Greenstein, whose short stack was gobbled up by John Phan.
