Update: Phil Laak's Record Challenge - 100 Hours and Counting
Phil Laak is attempting to break the world record for the longest poker session. His challenge has already started and you can watch his progress on live stream.
We previously reported here that Phil Laak will try to top a Guinness World Record for playing the longest poker session. His aim is to get 80 straight hours and the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is where he will play.
Laak's challenge started on the 2nd of June, at 12:00 local time (19:00 GMT). He is also posting updates on his Twitter feed approximatively every hour and you can follow him here.

#1: He started yesterday at 12:00 local time, which is 19:00 GMT or 21:00 CET. If I'm not mistaking, he's been playing for about 16 hours or so.#3

I expected him to play something intense, it looks like he'll be doing what he did on HSP most of the time - sitting, talking (though he swapped that here with sneezing and such actions apparently) and finally, shoving all-in with AA pre-flop if he happens to get such a hand :Preminds me of a video stream in which some guy just slept and slept and people logged to watch him...sleep.
anyway, all the respect to phil laak for being a poker pro but after watching durrr and ivey play, it's hard to find anything else mildly interesting to watch :P

#18: He apparently has about 5 minutes break allowed for every hour. He can also choose to save them and take more at once (e.g. 15 min. break every 3h)#20

#20: It might be allowed but I don't think he's actually able to do that (it's not as easy as it sounds). Besides, he has a sort of limit in terms of break lengths, but I'm not sure exactly what the limit is.#22

Lol he has a nice stack xD He's been playing for more then 50 hours now..Pretty crazy when you think about it.. while we've been doing w/e we did the last 2 days he's been playing poker continiously.
