World Team Poker Kicks Off

The World Team Poker announced its eight teams and is ready to start on Wednesday, the 19th of May. Players like Doyle Brunson, Scotty Nguyen, Jeff Lisandro and more will be taking part.

WTP, or World Team Poker, is a new team league event, where players will represent their country in a series of poker formats. The action will take place at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and eight teams will participate.

These players will compete in five shoot-out tournaments, and they will play rounds of Fixed Limit, No Limit and Pot Limit Omaha. World Team Poker will also offer you the chance to watch the event via live feed, which will start on Wednesday at noon local time.
