bet365 Upgrades its Poker Client

bet365 has just announced that its poker client has undergone some major changes. Some of the new features include resizeable tables, a new game and an observer chat feature. To test run this important update they are hosting four $1,000 tournaments with a 1 Merit Point buy-in, all running on January 15 2010.

bet365 has just released a major update for its poker client. Their new version comes with features such as resizeable tables, a new game option, a table-observer chat, better slider/betting options and more such improvements.

They are hosting four special tournaments to test these new features on January 15, as from 19:30 GMT. The buy-in is just 1 Merit Point and the prize pool is $1,000 for each.

Here are the latest poker client updates from the bet365 change log:

Main format features:

• New and enhanced table look
• Individually resizeable tables to allow players to adjust the table sizes as they wish
• Table Tiling Function for up to four tables. When a player opens up to four tables, the Table Tiling button will fit these four tables exactly into the player's PC screen
• Players will now be able to sit in their favourite position at the table, irrespective of whether the seat is available when they join the table or not

Extra game features:

• Razz - The new game Razz has been introduced to the bet365 tables. A favourite with stud players, this game is a variation of 7 card stud where the primary difference is that the lowest hand wins instead of the highest
• Faster play – Streamlined table play features reduce waiting time and speed up play
• Improved Favourites Section – The Favourites function has been enhanced to allow players to store all their favourite cash tables and tournaments in an easily accessible area, including a calendar view option
• Improved Slider/betting options – The improved Betting Slider feature allows players to easily bet a higher percentage of the pot
• Observer Chat – Players can now 'rail' a table using the chat function, without having to sit down at that specific table

Test the new updates in four $1,000 special tournaments

In order to test this important upgrade, bet365 will also host four $1,000 tournaments for its players on the 15th of January, 19:30 GMT.

In order to participate in these tournies, you only need 1 Merit Point, which means that 4 Merit Points could get you a share of the $4,000 overall prize pool! Given the fact that these four tournaments running at the same time, it is a good opportunity to test the Table Tiling function.
