John Phan prevailed in the star-studded $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit) tournament (Event 40) and won his second bracelet within a week. The $1,500 Mixed Hold'em (Limit/No-Limit) (Event 41) went to Frank Gary.

2,218 players gathered for the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em World Championship (Event 42). Basic prerequisite for the participation: You have to be at least 50 years young. 220 players survived the first day.
