While the organizers' decision to delay the WSOP Main Event Final was a commercial success, many poker pros were disappointed by the general style of coverage.
German Sebastian Homann put in an absolutely dominating display at the World Poker Tour Marrakesh Main event. He led all the way from Day 1, and also emerged as the winner in the end, to take home €244,508
Ace0nTheRiver rushed from Barcelona to Marrakesh to sign up for the WPT Marrakesh €4,250 + €750 Main Event. After completing Day 2, the event is down to its final 9 and Ace0ntheRiver is just five big blinds shy of having the chip lead.
Just 24 players are left after Day 3 at the PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona, and three of them are PokerStrategists. LeChiffre19 is now the chip leader and holds a big lead, while Ace0nTheRiver and Operga are both short stacked and lie in 21st and 22nd position.

The two female 888poker ambassadors were among the big winners at the Spanish Poker Tour Finals, held in the Grand Casino Costa Brava recently. Spain's Leo Margets won the special event while France's Claire Renaut finished second in the €3,200 Main Event.
2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate has put his bracelet up for auction on eBay almost two weeks ago. The bidding is now over and the new owner is going to receive the coveted bracelet after paying the sum of $147,500 for it.

The World Poker Tour will be expanding its schedule once again, this time with two new stops in Venice and Vienna. Besides that, the first WPT National Series tournament will also be held at the Aviation Club de France in Paris.
At the conclusion of Day 1A of the PokerStars EPT Barcelona, PokerStrategists Lechiffre19 and superbaldas are among the chip leaders while TeddyTheKiller along with Team PokerStrategy.com members Simon1989 and CuCbKu have also made it into Day 2.
Last weekend was a great weekend for two PokerStrategy.com coaches. Pinowww from the Dutch community and GoMore21 from the Polish community won more than $100,000 each in major tournaments.
The action in Macau has stopped for now with Phil Ivey back in the USA and durrrr taking some time off after some crazy heads-up action. There is a lot of confusion as to what happened in durrrr's heads-up match but he was reported to have ended the second heads-up match with a HK$68 million ($9 million) profit.

Joseph Tehan wins the Main Event of the NAPT Los Angeles after an incredible run during the final table. Chris DeMaci, the chip leader coming into the day, finished second for $440,000.
