You can start off your poker career once you've received your $50 starting capital on your account at PokerStars. You can also earn an additional $600 in bonus money while playing at PokerStars.This article will give you all the information you need to know about your starting capital and the $600 bonus.

Receiving your $50 starting capital
If you don't manage to collect 500 VPP* within 90 days, the $50 starting capital will be retracted from your account. If you have less than $50 at this point, only the remaining amount will be removed.* VIP Player Points (VPPs) are earned by playing poker at PokerStars. You will also get 1 StrategyPoint for every 2 VPPs you earn. The StrategyPoints you earn determine your member status and access to learning material.
Use the $600 First Deposit Bonus offer - Bonus code STARS600
On top of your $50 starting capital, you can receive a 100% up to $600 bonus. When you make your first deposit, you will receive an extra 100% of your deposit from PokerStars, up to a maximum bonus of $600. To receive this bonus, make sure to enter the bonus code STARS600 when you make your first deposit.At PokerStars, once you make your initial first deposit, you will be entitled to make two further deposits within 90 days. By dividing your deposit into up to 3 smaller deposits, it will make it easier to clear the bonus. For this reason, we recommend that you split your deposit into several parts. Each time you deposit an installment, you have to enter the bonus code STARS600.
You will then have 6 months from the date of each installment to clear the individual bonuses. So for example, if on the 90th day you make your final deposit, you will have 6 months from this date to clear the 3rd bonus.
The bonus is released in increments of 10 ($10, £10, €10 etc), each released into your account as you clear the needed VPPs. This means that you do not have to clear the bonus in its entirety to reap the benefits. Depending on the currency you are using , in order to clear each increment of 10 you will need to earn the following VPPs:
- Your currency is USD($): You need 177 VPPs for clearing 10 USD of the bonus.
- Your currency is EUR(€): You need 220 VPPs for clearing 10 EUR of the bonus.
- Your currency is GBP(£): You need 260 VPPs for clearing 10 GBP of the bonus.
- Your currency is CAD($): You need 160 VPPs for clearing 10 CAD of the bonus.
How to take advantage of the offer
Start by clicking on the cashier in the PokerStars program. Then click »Buy chips« and confirm your personal information. Click »Buy chips« again and select your preferred method of payment.
Be sure to enter the bonus code »STARS600« or you won't be allowed to participate!
Important: The bonus is activated manually after you make your first deposit with the bonus code. This can take up to 24 hours. Once everything has been processed, you can check the status of your bonus by clicking on the Cashier and going to Check My Bonus Status. You can start playing for the bonus money as soon as the bonus is active.
