Our status and points system
All learning materials and services at PokerStrategy.com are divided into several status groups. The higher your status, the more strategy articles, poker videos, coaching sessions and forum areas you can use.
You need to earn a certain amount of points within a month to gain each status.
Here's how you can collect points to boost your status:
- Play poker: you collect points when you play poker in one of our partner rooms, for example via a bonus offer on PokerStrategy.com or a free poker money offer.
- Buy points: you can comfortably and conveniently buy the points you need for a certain status in our points shop.
- Bonus points: you can also get points by taking part in promotions. For example, you get 10 bonus points for every day that you earn at least one point.
How many points do you need for each status?
On the first of every month you start collecting points towards your status for the following month. All the points you collect before the end of the current month count towards your status for the following month.
What's more, you immediately jump up a status level as soon as you've collected enough points to do so. In this case, you gain your new status for the remainder of the current month, as well as the entire following month.
There are three exceptions:
- Basic status: you get this status when you register.
- Bronze status: once you've reached this status, you can't lose it again.
- Black Member status: this is the highest possible status, you need to collect 500,000 points for this. However, once you've reached this status, you can't ever lose it again.

Collect points by playing poker
You collect points, known as StrategyPoints, by registering at one of our partner rooms and playing poker at the real money tables. StrategyPoints are calculated differently depending on the poker room. The following table shows you how the distribution of StrategyPoints is determined:

When playing in one of our partner rooms, the StrategyPoints you receive are updated daily, as a rule. However, there may be delays, depending on how quickly the poker room notifies us of your points.

You can choose between different packages which guarantee you a certain amount of points each month and so a guaranteed minimum status.
Here's how to get bonus points
You can collect additional points for your status from various PokerStrategy.com promotions. Our news section will keep you up to date on current and up-coming promotions. Just keep checking it regularly.
For example, at the moment, you can collect up to 300 additional points every month, 10 points for every day you earn at least 1 point in one of our partner rooms. This makes reaching Silver status child's play and puts Gold status firmly in sight.
