It's happened to everybody: you raise a good hand pre-flop and get one caller then hit nothing on the flop. Now what? A continuation bet of course! But this one is called too and the turn is no help. Mostly, this strong pre-flop hand must be folded now.

However, there are exceptions, situations in which you can bring your opponent to folding with a so-called second barrel or even a third barrel, that is, one or two more continuation bets. Finding the right spots for this is difficult. This article will explain the indicators for when multiple barrels make sense.
