Hi there. I think you've made an error in one of your calculations. I've been scratching my head over it for the past 20 mins and I eventually asked my dad about it aswell. We've both come to the same answer 3 times so it appears you made a mistake.

On the first tree diagram your answer for the EV was 0.694. The answer that I've tripple checked is 0.6724.
( 0.5*0 + 0.33*1 + 0.16 * 0.16 * 3 + 0.16 * 0.83 * 2 )
