I will try to reveal all secrets concerning the so called “slowplay”. I will explain in all detail what slowplay is and when you should make use of it in different situations. The difficulty is that there are no straight forward rules you can follow, but the examples should be able to give you a clear understanding. The article will be written as interesting as possible to satisfy the needs of beginners and intermediates as well.
However, beginners are the players who tend to slowplay with medium hands and waste a lot of money. Most intermediates are playing straight forward without being tricky at all, but from time to time it might be valuable to play “slow”. I hope you will know what I mean when you are done with this article.
