This first article discusses the rules of Texas Hold'em. The game itself is very easy to understand. Each player is dealt two cards, after which five cards are dealt face-up on the table. First three, then one, and another one. These are called community cards, because everyone can use them in conjunction with their own two cards to form their hand. In between them are four rounds of betting where you can either bet chips or money on your hand.
The first round is the so-called preflop round, which is explained on the next page. This is the round where you are dealt your two cards. Just click on the Next arrow at the top or bottom of the article, to reach the 2nd page of the article.
