Introduction

In this article
  • When to start playing multiple tables
  • Tips and tricks for beginners

The idea behind playing multiple tables (i.e. multi-tabling) is simple. If you can win on one table, why not open another one at the same time, doubling your hourly earnings?

By playing on several tables at the same time you can:
  • … improve your earnings per hour
  • … improve your game, if you get bored playing one table and lose concentration
  • … release your bonus at lightning speed

Sounds easy but it can go horribly wrong if you just open lots of tables and dive in head first. In this article you will learn how to do it the right way!

I can not imagine to play 24 tables at the same time. It's crazy! (for me)

I'm comfortable with 2-3 tables, but I did tried playing at 6 most. I cannot act fast enough if there are 2 or more tables I decide to play the hand at. But, I'm still a newbie...

I love multitabling when applying the SSS. Because u are playing so many tables, you often fold mediocre hands and focus on profiting and playing aggressive the really good hands. Because u playing more tables, you are seeing more hands which means often more then not that 1 of your tables will have a premium hand for you to maximise. A rule that I like to use is that once I've doubled by buyin for that particular table. I sit out, as your strategy then changes as it is often a push allin preflop with SSS in multitabling (situation depending of course) Play 10 at most. Comfortable with 6

Iv'e been playing tournaments for a couple of years and have decided to look for something a little more dependable. I am just about to attempt 2-4 table SSS. The list of playable hands seems excessively small but if it works then it works. Hit n run here we come.

im comfortable with 9 tables, but after that i really have to concentrate, and i get tired too quick, so i just stick with 9

It'a according to the screen size, you should arrange the tables in a way that all tables are visible all the time in order not to shift thought the tables all the time but just to move your sight. For example
on a 15" notebook screen 4 tables are the maximum for me, but on a home pc with 17", 19+" monitor 6, 9 tables can be played easily

24 tables make me sleepy some times... (not kidding).

A bonus for 3 tables over 4 tables is with 3 tables the final 1/4 of your tiled screen is used for your hand replay screen so it doesn't block the action while you watching the replay of your last all-in with AA being crushed by J 4...Just a thought...And it gives you a space to open up player notes...
