The signature options can be found under Extras | Options in Outlook Express. There you can put the signature in directly.
You can have Thunderbird append the signature to your emails as a text file. Click on Extras | Accounts and choose your email account. Click on attach signature as file and choose the file. The text below should be in this .txt file.
Choose how the link should look now.
With ICQ version 5.1 you can define your own status. Click on the status display on the small arrow and choose status administration. In the status manager you can, for example, create a new status called PokerStrategy.com. For news use the link below.
In MSN or Windows Messenger you can let people know what you are currently doing, or enter a URL.
If you chat a lot using Skype, we recommend two ways to advertise. The simplest is to indicate your status under your name. Click on your nickname. You can place the link there in the big speech bubble. Unfortunately you can't click on it, but instead you can use an additional program called Pamela. It works like an answering machine. You can leave a message with the link to this program, so everybody who sends you a message will get a message with this link.
When you end mIRC, you can leave a message and a link. Go to Tools | Options and to the sub-menu IRC Messages. There you will find a 'quit' message. This will automatically be left when you end IRC.
When you end X-Chat you can leave a message and a link. Go to Tools | Options and to the sub-menu IRC Messages. There you will find three entries. The first one appears when you end IRC. The second appears when you leave a channel and the third shows up when you are away.
There are obviously other IRC clients that also allow you to leave messages. Look through the options yourself and see if you can find the option to leave a message when you end your session.
