2. How does the $50 starting capital work?

I received the first $10. How do I get the full $50?

The free $50 starting capital will be released into your account in five separate chunks at $10 each.

You'll receive the first $10 immediately. You then have to play at least five $1 tournaments or play a few hundred poker hands within 7 days to release the next $10. Please note: the day you receive the transfer e-mail from Titan Poker counts as the first day.

The precise parameters are: you can earn a new $10 payment every 7 days, but not earlier.

In order to qualify for a new $10 payment you have to earn at least $0.50 in rake or tournament fees. Rake is the house's cut which is taken from every pot played at a cash game table. Usually it's around 5% of the money in the middle.

With an additional deposit of at least $100 you can bypass this hurdle and receive your full $50 all at once.

Can I really keep the money?

The money is yours but you have to start playing within 7 days of receiving the first $10, otherwise it will be taken out of your account.

Why can I only play the beginner limits?

If you start to play with the $50 starting capital, there is a bankroll limitation in place which only allows you to play at the limits recommended by our beginner's strategy. As a beginner you can only play stakes up to:

• No Limit $0.02/$0.04

• Fixed Limit $0.10/$0.20

• Sit and Go $1

In order lift this restriction you can either wait 120 days, play at least 1,000 raked hands or deposit a minimum of $100. If you make a deposit, you will need to contact Titan Poker customer support to get the bankroll limitations lifted.

When can I withdraw my free $50?

For every 50 Titan Points you have generated, you can withdraw $1 of your bonus. If you have received your first $10, you can cash out the whole bonus once you have generated 500 Titan Points. If you have received all 5 stages, you need to generate 2500 Titan Points to cash out the whole bonus.
Note that you also need to make a deposit of a minimum of $20. The deposit is required as you can only cash out to a payment option you used to deposit previously.

3. Are there freeroll tournaments at Titan Poker?

What is a freeroll?

A freeroll is a tournament that costs you nothing to enter, where there is real money to be won.

All Titan Poker freerolls can be found in the tournament section of the software under "freerolls".

4. How do I move up the limits and progress?

Only play the limits you can afford

It is important to play at a limit that only represents a small percentage of what you have in your poker account. This is called bankroll management and is important for steady progress and protecting your money. Follow the links below to find out more.

Start playing several tables at the same time

This is called multi-tabling and is a good way of learning faster and progressing up the limits faster. Follow the link below to find out more.

5. How do I set up the software and find tables?

Use a four-
coloured deck

Even the most experienced players can miss a flush because they didn't see the cards right. You can avoid mistaking a spade for a club by using a four-coloured card deck.

• Click "Options" in the upper menu bar

• Select "Table view" in the list

• Click "4-color deck"

Turn off the casino button

Titan Poker also offers an online casino. As you probably already know, casino games are designed in such a way that you lose money to the house over time. Turn off the casino button and concentrate on poker.

• Click "Options"

• Select "Casino games" and disable "Show casino games"

Find a good fixed limit table

Your poker career begins with table selection and can end because of it if you choose poorly. Here is how you can find a good table:

Step 1: Find the right limit
Click "Cash Games" in the left-hand menu of the Lobby.

Then select ...
• "Limit Hold'em" from the same menu
• "Low" from the menu above the table
• Choose a table with stakes of $0.10/$0.20

Titan Poker

Step 2: Open a table
Open a table by double-clicking it.

In the "Plrs" column you can see how many seats each table has, as well as how many of those seats are already taken. "9/10", for example, means that there are 10 seats at the table, 9 of which are taken, leaving room for you to take the last spot (see the image above).

Step 3: Take a seat at the table
An empty seat is easy to spot. Just look for a "Seat Open" spot.

With a single click, the seat is yours. Select the amount of money to take to the table and join the game. It's that easy.

Finding a good No Limit table

Step 1: Find the right limit
Click "Cash Games" in the left-hand menu of the Lobby.

Then select ...
• "No Limit Hold'em" from the same menu
• "Micro" from the menu above the table
• Choose a table with stakes of $0.01/$0.02

Titan Poker

Step 2: Open a table
Open a table by double-clicking it.

In the "Plrs" column you can see the how many seats each table has, as well as how many of those seats are already taken. "9/10", for example, means that there are 10 seats at the table, 9 of which are taken, leaving room for you to take the last spot (see the image above).

Step 3: Take a seat at the table
An empty seat is easy to spot. Just look for a chair with the phrase "Seat Open".

With a single click the seat is yours. Select the amount of money to take to the table and join the game. It's that easy.

Finding a Sit and Go

Sit and Goes have their own area at Titan Poker. A number of different types of tournaments are offered, but not all are worth playing. The next section will show you how to find the right tournament for you.

Step 1: Find the right limit
Click "Sit&Go" in the left-hand menu of the Lobby.

Then select ...
• "All Sit & Go" in the same menu
• "NL" from the menu above the table
• "Micro" from the menu above the table

Titan Poker

Step 2: Open a tournament
Once these have been selected, you will have an overview of all No Limit Hold'em Sit and Goes with buy-in levels that suit your bankroll management. You should choose a buy-in of $1 + $0.10. It should appear as "$1 + $0.10" in the "Buy-in" column, or the next most approximate value. Make sure that the tournament is for 10 players.

Double-click a table to open the Tournament Lobby.

Tournaments with empty seats are listed as either "Waiting for (number) player(s) or Registering".

Under the "Plrs" column you can see how many seats each table has, as well as how many of those seats are already taken. "9/10", for example, means that there are 10 seats at the table, 9 of which are taken, leaving room for you to take the last spot.

Step 3: Register for a tournament
The Tournament Lobby will open once you double-click a tournament. Click the green button "Register" and your nickname will appear in the list of players.

Now all you have to do is wait for registration to close and the game will begin automatically.
