Your welcome bonus is a 10% match offer up to $200. What’s cool about BCPoker is that the bonus is released in full immediately, and you can use it for cash games, MTTs, and the casino.

The bonus amount is unlocked in tiny increments of $0.0001, so you aren’t waiting around to generate large chunks of rake. You’re under no time limit to play through the wagering and release it. Although wagering is 5x the bonus amount, it’s based on your total bets in cash games or your tournament buy-ins, rather than just rake, so clearing the bonus won’t take too long at all.

No Deposit Bonus

Unusually, BCPoker offers a $5 no deposit bonus, which means you can sign up and test out the site’s real money games for free. BCPoker Rakeback and Loyalty

Rakeback is a transparent repayment for a portion of the rake you pay. The higher the stakes and the longer you play, the more rake you generate, so your rakeback increases.

You begin with 10% rakeback at BCPoker, but that rises to a very generous 50% if you achieve the highest level in the VIP program, with three levels each of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Royal.

Note that you must keep up your playing levels each month, or you’ll drop down a tier, which will decrease your rakeback.

BCPoker Rake

Poker Game Types at BCPoker

Our BCPoker review found lots of poker game variants, offering plenty of choice. We were surprised to find some rarer games, like Six-Plus, given how the site attracts so many poker newbies.

Texas Hold’em

Texas Hold’em is the most popular form of poker worldwide, and it’s no surprise to see it accounts for most of the BCPoker action.

It’s probably the easiest type of poker to play; you get two cards privately and must make the best possible poker hand using any combination of these and up to five community cards that all players can use.

Check out the special Bomb tables. Bomb pots occur randomly every 8-10 minutes, and each player must put in eight big blinds, with the action skipping straight to post-flop betting.

Omaha

Omaha is similar to Texas Hold’em, but in this case, you get four hole cards of your own, rather than two. You must use exactly two of these, plus three from the five community cards, to form your poker hand.

The site also offers the more uncommon PLO5 variant, where you have five hole cards and must use three of them. This generates a lot more action as you and the other players can make many different hands.

During our BCPoker review, we found only a few Omaha cash game tables running, although we expect this to grow as the site develops.

Six-Plus

In Six-Plus Hold’em (sometimes called 6+ or Short Deck Hold’em), all 2, 3, 4, and 5 cards are removed, leaving you to play with a 36-card deck. This prompts more action and also results in slightly different hand ranking, like a flush beating a full house (it’s easier to make a full house with fewer choices of card value).

Cash Games

We found most of the action at the micro and low stakes tables, which is no surprise given the relatively limited player base.

Cash games are popular because you can get up and leave a table whenever you like, or top up your table balance if your chips get low. At BCPoker, you can play up to four tables at a time. This is excellent if you can cope with fast decision-making, because you can build your rakeback payments faster.

Tournaments

Many players see tournaments as tougher than cash games because you must survive for several hours to outlast large fields. One mistake or piece of bad luck can cost you all your chips, and once your chips are gone, you’re eliminated (unless it’s a rebuy event).

The tournament schedule is fairly limited. Our BCPoker review team found tournaments starting only every couple of hours, with limited player registrations. All the BCPoker tournaments were No Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments in turbo format, and most were in the $1 to $5 buy-in range.

AOF Sit & Go

All-in or Fold is an exciting, action-packed Sit & Go format. You have just two choices on every hand: to fold, or to move all-in. There are four tables, each with four players, and each player has three stacks to play with (you can choose to play with one stack at a time or add all three to the table).

It’s a shootout-style event, so the winner of each table goes through to the final, where each player begins afresh with five stacks.

Purists might not like this style of poker, as it takes away some of the skill element, but it’s undoubtedly fun and appeals to recreational poker players. Buy-ins are $0.30, $0.50, or $2.50.

BCPoker Game Features

It’s always refreshing to see a new poker room launch, because developers start with a blank canvas. This means that a few quirky-but-nice features appear, which are designed to appeal to new poker players without putting off more experienced ones.

We’ve already mentioned some of the different cash game tables, such as the Bomb Pot and Lucky Drop tables, but there are also some cool additional features.

For example, check out All-in Insurance, where you can reduce the perils of variance. If you select it and win the hand, the insurance cost is taken from your winning pot. While this is a handy safety net for recreational players, our BCPoker review team believes it slows down play, as each player is given a time bank to decide whether to buy insurance or not.

Other fun features include your ability to display emojis at the table, player chat, and when you click on a player avatar, you see their playing data for the last 30 days, including:

• Hands played at the current stake level
• Hands played overall
• Voluntarily put into the pot percentage
• Pre-flop raise percentage
• Your best and worst hands against the player
• A space for making notes
• Color coding to mark the fish from the sharks or rocks
• You can edit a player's name - only you’ll see the results, but you can work off some steam doing this!
• Change the default button bet sizes

BC Shield

The BC Shield is a significant feature, designed to promote fairness and integrity. You’ll see the shiny green shield above every table, like a reassuring beacon. BC Shield has some key features, including:

• Provably fair - You can check the fairness of every hand, with a cryptographic hash proving the randomness of the cards. This is a definitive way to answer: Is BCPoker legit?
• AI Behavior detection - The software analyzes patterns of play to identify any bots or use of third-party programs. It’s always reassuring to know you’re playing real people, not high-powered AI software.
• ‘Liveness’ checks - If you’re playing on mobile, you may be asked to provide a live photo scan of your face to prove you’re human. Refusing to agree will get you booted off the table.
• No HUDs - BCPoker is able to detect and boot players attempting to use HUDs or engage in data mining of players. This brings fairness and an equal playing field to all.
• No emulators - Or solvers, or in fact any third-party software designed to game the BCPoker tables and gain an advantage over others.

BCPoker Lobby

The BCPoker lobby is designed to be simplistic and mobile-first. There’s clear navigation to go straight to the cash tables or tournament lobby, where it’s easy to find current games and upcoming tournaments, and use the filters to narrow down your choices.

It’s straightforward to see if you have any outstanding tournament tickets, or check your VIP club progress. Plus, you can look through your recent results at the touch of a screen.

At the time of researching this BCPoker review, there was no desktop app to download. Support told us it was coming soon (note that support wasn’t instant; we had to wait for them to come online for a response).

While instant play in the browser works perfectly well, you can only have one window open at a time, and we found this annoying when playing in a tournament and having to move away from the table each time we wanted to check the BCPoker tournaments lobby (for tournament position, structure, info on the number of players left). If there was a way of switching seamlessly between the two, it wasn’t immediately apparent.

Instant Play vs Download

As noted, instant play on desktop is fine, but it has limitations. So, we’ll be sure to revisit this BCPoker review when the client is available for download.

BCPoker Mobile App

You can also play instantly on your mobile browser, but we recommend downloading the app for iOS or Android. This makes it easier to sign in when you want to play, and it will remember your site settings each time.

The site claims to update its apps regularly, and from our experience, you can play the tables easily. It’s presented in vertical form, making it easier to hold the device in one hand as you play.

As we mentioned earlier, you need to sign up via mobile to receive the no-deposit BCPoker bonus.

BCPoker Traffic

Low liquidity is the primary drawback for BCPoker at present. It’s a new site, having launched in the fall of 2025, but it does have the significant advantage of being able to draw on an existing large casino player base. In that sense, it’s a bit like Stake, when it launched its own online poker room.

Even so, it will take time for player numbers to rise. When we joined the tables, there were only around 150 to 200 players online. But we expect that number to grow in the evening hours, and later in the week (weekends always being the most popular time for online poker).

While you might find the numbers a little disappointing, we urge you to check out some of the tables. The standard of play is soft, and it seems clear that some of the players are regulars at the casino. The statistics in player avatars are quite telling; we saw many players with hundreds, sometimes thousands of hands, with VPIP stats of 50% or higher and pre-flop raise stats of less than 10%. This indicates that there is profit to be made if you’re skilled.

BCPoker payments are superfast because it’s a crypto-first poker site, although it also accepts traditional fiat payments. But we recommend the crypto route, since you get the additional privacy, and, if you’re willing to forego the welcome bonus, no KYC checks.
