Sundays bring an upgraded version with the Daily Dollar Sunday Edition, keeping the buy-in at just $1 while increasing the guarantee. The Sunday event originally launched with $3,000 GTD, but CoinPoker boosted it to $5,000 after only one weekend, adding even more value for low-stakes grinders.
CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck described it as the “smallest buy-in trophy event in the world”, with Sunday champions also earning a trophy for their collection.
The concept is straightforward: put meaningful prize pools in front of micro-stakes players every day rather than limiting this kind of value to occasional specials. Freerolls, satellites and a new ticket-based reward system provide additional routes into the Daily Dollar, making the promotion especially attractive for players working with smaller bankrolls.
First Sunday Edition Smashes Its Opening Guarantee
The first Daily Dollar Sunday Edition delivered an immediate success on August 16, attracting 3,740 entries from 2,375 unique players. The $1 event comfortably cleared its original $3,000 guarantee, creating a $3,440 prize pool.
Dnxx fired three entries and went on to claim the title for $453.92, becoming the first player to add a Daily Dollar Sunday trophy to the CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.
Following the strong debut, CoinPoker is raising the Sunday guarantee to $5,000 from August 23, an increase of around 66%.
Sunday Champions Get a Trophy Cabinet Award
The Daily Dollar Sunday Edition adds extra prestige to the $1 buy-in, with every winner receiving a digital trophy in their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.
The feature showcases notable tournament victories on a player’s public Career page. Previously reserved mainly for larger flagship events, the Daily Dollar becomes the first micro-stakes tournament to award one.
