Negativní freerol je situace, která nastává tehdy, pokud všichni hráči v posledním kole sázek před showdownem namísto vsázení checkují. Jsou ale ochotni dorovnat all-in<\/a> nebo jinou sázku. Pokud checknete, dáváte soupeři možnost check behind<\/a> a dostat se se slabou handou na showdown<\/a> bez dalšího vsazení, zatímco soupeři se silnými kartami budou sázet v každém případě. <\/p>

Vsadit nebo jít all-in<\/a> je přitom ta jediná správná možnost, jak dostat z hráče se slabší handou více žetonů do potu a vyhrát, narozdíl od prvního způsobu.<\/p>

Tato situace se často vyskýtá pokud je hráč agressorem v průběhu celé handy a na river<\/a> dorazí karta, které mohla zkompletovat soupeřovu draw<\/a>. Pokud jsou handa nebo pot odds<\/a> tak vysoké, že stejně nemůže složit, měli byste raději opět vsadit, než dávat šanci slabým handám dostat se zdarma na showdown<\/a>. <\/p>
