Sled akcí během hry je určen podle pozice hráče u stolu vzhledem k dealerovi. Ti, kteří musí jednat jako první, se nachází v early pozici. Například na full ring<\/a> stole Texas Hold'em<\/a> jsou to první tři pozice po blindech. Mezi hráči se jim říká také UTG<\/a> (under the gun<\/a> – před hlavní pistole), UTG+1, a UTG+2. <\/p>

Nevýhodou hry v early pozici je to, že musíte jednat hned na začátku kola a nemáte tak informace jak budou jednat vaši protihráči. Platí, že čím více soupeřů je na řadě, tím méně informací máte k dispozici. Zároveň je i vyšší šance že hráči na řadě po vás drží silnou handu. Je mnohem více náročné zvládnout hru proti soupeřům jednajícím po vás, než proti hráčům kteří již jednali před vámi. <\/p>
