Image<\/a> je charakteristika hráče, jakým stylem si ostatní soupeři myslí, že hraje. Mohou uvěřit tomu, že hraje passive<\/a> nebo agressive, že bluffuje, nebo že vsází pouze tehdy, pokud drží opravdu dobrou handu atd. Image<\/a> má přímý dopad na akce vašich soupeřů a vám naopak sděluje informace o tom, jak vyprovokovat hráče k určité reakci. <\/p>

Čím vyšší úroveň hry, tím se zvedá i důležitost sledování image<\/a>. Cílem budování image<\/a> je oklamat soupeře a navést ho věřit něčemu, co není zcela pravda a nakonec ho přimět jednat podle toho. Z tohoto důvodu hráč s vážnou, stabilní a konservativní image<\/a> může bluffovat častěji, prostě z toho důvodu, že ostatní hráči budou věřit, že má dobrou handu. Naopak pro divokého hráče bude mnohem jednodušší nechat si dobré handy pořádně od soupeřů zaplatit. <\/p>
