Varianty pokeru, jako je například Omaha<\/a> nebo Seven Card Stud<\/a> existují ve dvou formách. V klasické získává pot<\/a> ten, kdo má nejvýše hodnocenou handu, ale je zde ještě varianta hi\/lo, ve které hráč s nejvyšší handou splituje pot<\/a> s hráčem, který má nejhůře hodnocenou handu (lo hand<\/a>).<\/p>

Lo-Hand<\/a><\/h2>

Existují různé definice pro to má „lo“ hand<\/a> vypadat. U Omahy nebo Seven Card Studu při hraní online je hi\/lo hand<\/a> pokud lo je kombinací 5 karet po 9 bez sestavení páru, přestože může obsahovat flush<\/a> nebo straight flush<\/a>. <\/p>

Pořadí karet se sestavuje směrem dolů od 8 a handy jsou porovnávány od nejvyšší karty, takže 8, 6, 5, 4, 3 je lepší lo handa než 8, 7, 3, 2, eso.<\/p>

Nejlepší lo hand<\/a> je tedy straight<\/a> od 5 do esa:<\/p>

Splitování potu<\/h2>

Běžně se pot<\/a> splituje mezi dvě handy v poměru 50\/50. Polovina pro nejlepší hi handu a zbytek pro nejhorší (je nejlepší) lo ho handu. Pokud nikdo nesestaví lo handu splňující požadavky na kvalifikaci o pot<\/a>, bere celý pot<\/a> hi handa. Pokud mají dva hráči shodné lo handy, získává každý přesně poloviční podíl z lo potu, tedy čtvrtinový z celého potu. Stejné pravidlo se aplikuje i v případě více ekvivalentních lo hand<\/a>. Tři by tedy získaly jednu šestinu celého potu atd.<\/p>

Stejné pravidlo se aplikuje i v případě více rovnocenných hi hand<\/a>. Pokud hráč drží zároveň nejlepší hi a nejhorší lo handu, vyhrává celý pot<\/a>. Říká se tomu scoop<\/a>. <\/p>
