Definice<\/h2>

Calling station<\/a>, nebo station for short, je označení pro extrémně loose<\/a> a pasivního hráče.  Ten hraje příliš mnoho hand<\/a>, které by měl již dříve složit. Dorovnává každou sázku i s marginálními kartami, protože nevidí, že již prohrál. Dobré karty hraje naopak pasivně a to vede v důsledku k tomu: zřídka vsadí proto, aby budoval velikost potu, nebo si nechrání své zranitelné handy. Call<\/a> je hráčovou oblíbenou akcí a proto se mu podle ní říká calling station<\/a>. Z tohoto důvodu se nedají tito hráči moc dobře bluffovat.<\/p>

Důvody pro tento herní styl<\/h2>

Může existovat mnoho důvodů, proč hráči hrají tímto herním stylem. Jedním z nich je, že si neuvědomují sílu svých karet a neskládají karty kdy mají. A to ani se slabými kartami.  Své silné karty nehrají zase dostatečně agresivně. Na druhou stranu se může jednat o hráče, který vyhledává spíše sociální aspekt pokeru; chce být zapojen do hry namísto vytváření agresívní atmosféry. Hráč může být calling station<\/a> také proto, že nemá dostatek sebedůvěry pro jinou akci, nebo svým soupeřům nedůvěřuje a vidí za každou sázkou bluff. <\/b><\/p>
