Definice: Straddle znamená v živých hrách situaci, kdy se hráč rozhodne vložit sázku o velikosti dvojnásobku big blindu předtím, než se rozdají karty. Většinou straddluje hráč v pozici UTG<\/a>. V podstatě jde o raise<\/a> in the dark, protože všichni následující hráči musí dorovnat, nebo navýšit toto navýšení. Často se provádí z toho důvodu, aby hráč mohl na chvíli opustit stůl a vrátit se následně ke svým kartám, nebo k zvýšení akce u stolu.<\/p>
