Polarising<\/a> je proces upravování range<\/a>. Range<\/a> vychýlíte na jednu nebo druhou stranu a to buď proti slabým, nebo velmi silným handám.  Výraz \"nuts<\/a> or nothing\" popisuje právě polarizaci range: Například pokud se hráč snaží reprezentovat full house<\/a> provedením over-betu na riveru, má opravdu buď full house<\/a>, nebo žádnou showdown<\/a> equity<\/a> a snaží se tedy získat pot<\/a> bluffem. Protože by takovýto krok neudělal se středně silnou handou, jeho range<\/a> se dá označit jako polarisovaná.<\/p>

Po polarisaci range<\/a> obsahuje pouze protichůdné typy hand<\/a> (value<\/a> handy a výš) a díky tomu také náchylná k zneužití. Hráč by proto měl udržovat svou range<\/a> tak širokou, jak jen je to možné. Je to zejména proto, aby mohl reprezentovat v případě potřeby handy s různou sílou.
