Deep stack<\/a> je označení pro stack<\/a>, který je výrazně větší než maximální buy-in<\/a> u stolu. Pokud má hráč například 200 dolarů u stolu s maximálním buy-inem 100 dolarů, jeho stack<\/a> lze označit za deep. Takový hráč sice může vyhrát hodně peněz od jiných hráčů s deep stacky, ale je zranitelný a riskuje ztrátu hodně peněz najednou.<\/p>

Taková situace má vliv i na herní styl a strategii. Hráč s velkým stackem může získat lepší implied odds<\/a> a provádět více nákladné akce. Velikost přínosů, založených na myšlence pot odds<\/a> a implied odds<\/a> je posunutá, protože náklady mohou být vyšší nakonec vzhledem k možným výhrám.<\/p>

V tournaji je stack<\/a> deep pokud je velký v porovnání s ostatními stacky u stolu a také s povinnými sázkami. <\/p>
