Pro určitý počet outů (karty, které kompletují draw<\/a>) je určitá pravděpodobnost, že se taková karta vyloží v dalším kole. Taková pravděpodobnost je obvykle vyjádřena jako odds<\/a> nebo záporné odds<\/a>, což je pravděpodobnost, že se naše draw<\/a> nezkompletuje. <\/p>

Tento hráč má draw<\/a> na barvu. V balíčku zbývá devět srdcových karet, tudíž má devět outů. Celkem vidí rozdaných pět karet (karty protihráčů se nepočítají), takže ví, že tyto karty už nemohou být vyloženy. A jelikož je v balíčku celkem 52 karet, tak se může 52-5=47 karet objevit na turnu. Z těchto je 47-9=38 karet pro hráče neužitečných. Záporné odds<\/a> pro netrefení další srdcové karty je tudíž<\/p>

Zaporné odds<\/a> = 38:9 = 4,2:1<\/em><\/p>

<\/p>

Jinými slovy trefí barvu v 19% případů. Ve 35% mu příjde do riveru, což mu dává odds<\/a> 1,9:1.<\/p>
