Pot odds<\/a> je poměr mezi případnou výhrou a částkou nutnou na dorovnání, abyste měli šanci na zisk takové výhry. Jedná se tedy v podstatě o převrácený poměr cena\/výkon pro danou sázku. <\/p>

Příklad:<\/strong><\/p>

V potu je $10.<\/p>

Hráč A vsadí $5.<\/p>

V potu je nyní $15, které nám udávají případný zisk. Částka nutná na dorovnání pro Hráče B, který hraje po Hráči A, je
$5. Jeho pot odds<\/a> jsou tedy $15:$5 čili 3:1. <\/p>

Význam ve hře<\/h2>

Pot odds<\/a> jsou užitečné v otázkách dlouhodobé profitability daného callu, například při hraní draw<\/a>. Pokud jsou po
vypočítání pravděpodobnosti náklady na call<\/a> příliš vysoké nebo je případná výhra příliš malá, pak se daný call<\/a> nevyplatí.
V takovém případě totiž nevyhrajete dostatečně často dostatečně velkou sumu na to, aby byla taková investice z
dlouhodobého hlediska profitabilní.<\/p>

<\/p>

Pokud jsou například dva hráči v posledním sázkovém kole a jeden z nich vsadí $2 do potu $10 a druhý poráží pouze blaf<\/a>, tak hráč A bude muset blafovat alespoň v jednom ze sedmi případů, aby mohl hráč B dorovnat a zároveň nečinit dlouhodobě ztrátové rozhodnutí.<\/p>

<\/p>

V tomto případě byly pot odds<\/a> 10+2:2 čili 6:1. Hráč B tedy bude na nule, pokud budou jedo odds<\/a> nebo šance na výhru 6:1. Mohl by šestkrát prohrát (pokaždé by zaplatil $2) a jednou vyhrát ($12). Hráč A tudíž musí blafovat alespoň ve 14% případů, aby mohl hráč B dorovnat. <\/p>
