V high stakes scéně se v srpnu děly opět nevídané věci - co se týče výher, nejvíce se dařilo borcům ze Skandinávie, kteří ukořistili pomyslný stupěň vítězů. Isildur1 ukončil měsíc jen těsně pod hranicí $900k<\/span>, následovaný Andreasem \"Skjervøy<\/span>\" Tobergsenem se <\/span> $767k<\/span> a Ilari<\/span> \"Ilari<\/span> FIN\" Sahamiesem s<\/span> $510k<\/span>. Isildur1 přitom zažil jeden z jeho nejelpších měsíců v kariéře. Největší hry byly k vidění na PokerStars<\/a>, kde běželo hned několik $100\/$200 6-Max PLO stolů a jelikož to pro někoho mohlo být málo, Blom a Ilari Sahamies hráli na konci měsíce i $300\/$900. Na iPokeru běželo také několik stolů $200\/$400, což by mohlo indikovat možný přesun některých hráčů právě tam.<\/p>

Nejlepších 10 hráčů srpna<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Jak už jsme zmiňovali, Viktor Blom v říjnu bodoval nejvíc a mohlo být pro něj i veseleji, kdyby si odpustil několik delších session - ještě předposlední víkend vyhrál 1 milion dolarů, především od Ilari Sahamiese, ale poté prohrál takřka $500k, především proti Andreasovi “Skjervoy” Torbergsenovi a Niki Jedlickovi. Umístění Torbergsena není žádným větším překvapením, když momentálně dokonce vede žebříček největších profitů na PokerStars<\/a> s úctyhodným ziskem $1,9 milionu. Sahamies sice tento měsíc ukončil s profitem, ale prohraný milion s Blomem zanemná, že celkově je za rok 2011 break even. No a nakonec Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond, kterému studený kanadský vzduch zřejmě prospěl, neboť stačil od přestěhování vyhrát více než $500k.<\/p>

Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky vede sice také žebříček, ale určitě z jiné strany, než by si představoval - mladý Američan odehrál několik smolných session především proti Isildurovi1 a Rui “PepperoniF” Caovi a ani jednou se mu nepodařilo vyhrát. Celkově dokázal sice za rok 2011 vyhrát $437k, ale další měsíc jako tento už by znamenal červená čísla. Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane sice vedl žebříček PokerStars<\/a> ještě před zahájením WSOP, ale od té doby to s ním jde z kopce - tento měsíc je ve ztrátě $452k, což znamená, že už se jeho profit z $2 milionů před WSOP ztenčil na \"pouhých\" $1.2 milionu. Dalším smolařem je bývalý profesionální hráč Warcraftu 3 Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi, který byl ještě v půlce července na hranici $515k, ale od té doby propadl až na \"pouhých\" $80k za rok 2011.<\/p>
