Ungar byl snadno rozpoznatelný svým mladistvým vzezřením a drobnou postavou. Ve svých pokerových začátcích občas dokonce nedosáhl na stůl a musel si něčím podložit zadek na židli.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Nejmladší Main Event šampion, tři tituly<\/h2>

\"Stu<\/p>

WSOP 1980, kde Stu vyhrál svůj první Main Event titul, bylo zároveň poprvé, kdy hrál Texas Hold'em. Stal se nejmladším šampionem v historii (rekord byl od té doby překonán Philem Hellmuthem, Peterem Eastgatem a Joem Cadou).<\/p>\n

Ungar je jediným hráčem, který se může pyšnit třemi tituly z Main Eventu, všemi vyhranými poctivě přímo za pokerovými stoly (Johnny Moss, jenž má rovněž tři tituly, získal svůj první prostřednictvím hlasování).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Stu Ungar byl skvělým hráčem blackjacku a skvělý v počítání karet. Proto mu také často bylo zakazováno tuto hru v kasinech hrát.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Ungar zkusil poprvé kokain na radu svých přátel z pokeru, kteří trvali na tom, že mu tato droga pomůže udržet koncentraci během nekonečně dlouhých pokerových seancí. Není příliš překvapivé, že to rychle vedlo k vážné závislosti.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Nikdy mu nešlo čistě o obírání soupeřů<\/h2>

Ungar byl znám svým super-agresivním stylem hry, dobrými blafy a šílenými river cally. Nikdy mu nešlo o obírání soupeřů. Osobní hrdost z výhry pro něj vždy znamenala více než cokoli jiného.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>
