Na začátku roku jsem učinil poněkud kontroverzní předpověď, že Phil Ivey bude v roce 2015 nejztrátovějším hráčem<\/a>. Což v pokeru znamená, jako kdyby měl sestoupit Real Madrid do nižší ligy, ovšem po dvou měsících mi má předpověď zatím vychází.<\/p>

Je nejztrátovějším hráčem měsíce a prozatím celého roku s mínusem téměř $1.3 milionu<\/strong>. Ale co je důležitější, je druhým nejztrátovějším hráčem po Černém pátku od roku 2012 se ztrátami přes $6 milionů<\/strong>.<\/p>

Nadále sice zůstává nejprofitabilnějším hráčem od počátku zaznamenávání, ještě za dob Teamu Full Tilt, ale jeho profit se den ode dne ztenčuje. Jediným důvodem, proč jeho ztráty nepřitahovaly více pozornosti je fakt, že tuto nelichotivou poctu měl vždy Gus Hansen. Ovšem když se nyní pravděpodobně vzdal Gus online her, je aktuálně nejztrátovějším hráčem právě Ivey.<\/p>

Specialisté vs. všeumělé<\/h2>

Zapomněl tedy Phil Ivey z ničeho nic, jak se hraje poker, i když je považován za nejlepšího hráče na světě? Samozřejmě že ne. Problémem je to stejné, jako u Guse - selekce her<\/strong>. Standardy v nosebleed hrách jsou jednoduše nesmírně vysoko.<\/p>

Samozřejmě Hansen i Ivey mají pokerový talent, který se dá přenést z živého pokeru na online. Nicméně očividně jsou oba mnohem lepší živí hráči a jejich samotné pokerové instinkty na porážení těchto her nestačí. Hráči, kterým čelí, jednoduše dřeli mnohem víc, aby byli lepší speciálně v online pokeru<\/strong>. Jsou to specialistě, kdežto o Iveym by se dalo říci, že je všeuměl.<\/p>

Faktor strachu<\/h2>

Stejně jako Tiger Woods, ke kterému je často přirovnáván, se Phila Iveyho pravděpodobně<\/strong> přestali jeho protihráči trochu bát<\/strong>. V živých turnajích je jeho reputace tak silná, až se hráči třesou, když s ním sedí u stolu. Ovšem nosebleed regulárové jsou natolik zkušení, že tyto triky na ně neplatí.<\/p>

Ve skutečnosti může být dokonce jeho reputace použita proti němu<\/strong>. Mluvil jsem s lidmi, kteří proti Iveymu hráli, včetně našeho Pleno1<\/a>, a všichni se shodli, že proti němu mají informační výhodu, ačkoliv je celková edge na jeho straně. To z toho důvodu, že všichni vědí, kdo je Phil Ivey a jak hraje, ale on sám nemá na své soupeře zdaleka tolik informací.<\/p>

Phil Ivey je dle mého názoru stále nejlepším univerzálem na světě.<\/strong> Nicméně jeho největší dovednostní výhoda nastupuje tváří v tvář, když může zapojit své technické znalosti, neverbální dovednosti a faktor strachu. Nemohu si pomoci, ale podle mě se pro něj staly high stakes online hry příliš specializované.<\/p>
