Chvilkové rozptýlení, nebo zbytečné zdržování?<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Nevěřím na osud, ani že si někdo \"zaslouží\" vyhrát pokerový turnaj, pokud ale někdy byl turnaj, který jsem \"měl\" vyhrát, ale nevyhrál, byl to finálový stůl Sky Poker Tour Main Eventu v Leeds. Hrál jsem dobře, měl jsem velký stack a první cena tvořila přesně tu sumu, kterou jsem potřeboval na své vysněné líbánky.<\/p>

Bohužel mi finálový stůl nevyšel, protože mi jeden pán, co měl větší stack než já, omylem dorovnal all-in, protože neslyšel, že jsem ho zahlásil, protože na svém telefonu poslouchal hudbu. Na riveru trefil postupku.<\/p>

Z širšího pohledu je dobře, vás lidé dorovnávají omylem a my se tomu jen zasmáli. Když ale přijde na rozptylující technologie, vždy mi to zkazí náladu. Proto jsem byl nadšený, když Matt Savage oznámil zkušební event, ve kterém budou zakázány telefony, kapuce, sluchátka a sluneční brýle, aby byla hra více společenská.<\/p>

Jak jsem psal již několikrát v minulosti, opravdu mi není příjemné, jakým způsobem infiltrují technologie náš život. Zbožňuji technologie a online poker, co se ale týče AI, sociálních médií nebo chytrých telefonů, opravdu věřím, že všeho moc škodí a to ubližuje civilní společnosti<\/a>.<\/p>

Kapuce a brýle mi vážně nevadí, ale mám velký problém se sluchátky, která zpomalují hru. I chytré telefony zpomalují hru, jejich největším problémem ale je, že ze hry odebírají její společenskou stránku. Přijde mi obzvláště neslušné, když se snažíte někomu něco říct a dotyčný ani neodlepí svůj pohled z telefonu. To pak přispívá k faktu, že je poker méně zábavný.<\/p>

Než se posuneme dále, musím zdůraznit, že se nejedná o problém mladých a\/nebo online hráčů. Snadno bychom za to mohli vinit online generaci, ovšem v posledních letech jsem si začínal všímat, že zombík zírající do svého telefonu se může stát z opravdu každého. Snad každému z nás, mě nevyjímaje, by pravděpodobně prospělo menší omezení používání chytrého telefonu.<\/strong><\/p>

Možná nejdůležitější na celé věci ale je, že se netýká pouze pokeru.<\/strong> Opravdu jde o něco, na čem bychom se měli zamyslet u každé společenské aktivity. Některé kavárny zavádí zákazy chytrých telefonů a můžete podstoupit i \"digitální detox\". V posledních letech dokonce komikové jako Dave Chappelle nutí diváky, aby si uložili své telefony do uzavřených krabic, dokud neskončí představení. Zejména aby nemohli představení natáčet.<\/p>

Lepším hráčům by se navíc zákaz telefonů měl zamlouvat, protože jak jsem psal v minulosti, nechat se rozptylovat telefonem škodí vašemu výkonu více než opilost. Multitasking je jen pověra, protože tak děláme v podstatě dvě věci, ale hůře. Nezáleží na tom, jak dobrý hráč jste, vždy budete lepší, když se budete plně soustředit.<\/p>

Ačkoliv se mi tento nápad opravdu líbí, pochybuji, že se z něj stane pravidlo. Nepochybuji o tom, že u některých stolů budou probíhat vášnivé diskuze, na druhou stranu u jiných může panovat trapné ticho a některé hráče to může nudit<\/strong>. Poker je psychicky náročná hra a pro některé je chytrý telefon způsobem, jak si mezi handami krapet odpočinout.<\/p>

Neočekávám, že by tento event zažehnul nový pokerový boom, ale doufám, že přinutí každého se zamyslet nad svým používáním chytrých telefonů. A možná povede k dostatečně pozitivním reakcím, aby se i na dalších pokerových festivalech konaly podobné eventy, i kdyby jen jako side eventy, u kterých bychom si mohli od naší hromadné závislosti na internetu odpočinout<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>
