Zdá se, že herna PokerStars<\/a> si vytvořila v posledních letech dobrý zvyk překonávat rekordy, ale jejich poslední heroický kousek je pravděpodobně zatím nejúchvatnější.<\/p>

V rámci oslav handy č. 100 miliard se rozhodla herna uspořádat největší pokerový turnaj v historii.<\/p>

Odehrál se včera a své štěstí na cestě za odměnou za první místo ve výši $25,000 v tomto monstrózním turnaji s buy-inem $1 nakonec vyzkoušelo 225,000 hráčů.<\/p>

Předchozí rekord byl překonán o 25,000 hráčů a vítězství nakonec slavil ruský hráč \"Mr.SlavaPro\", který se na cestě za historickým úspěchem vypořádal v heads-upu s hráčem \"johnnykara\" ($15,000). <\/p>

Skvěle se dařilo i PokerStrategistovi kari9, který nakonec skončil šestý za $3,500.<\/p>

Po překonání více než 750 grinderů, lačnících po úspěchu, se stal čerstvým UKIPT šampionem Ludovic Geilich. <\/p>

Včerejší finálový stůl v Marbelle začínal Geilich mezi chip leadery a už po pár orbitech se jeho stack ještě více rozrostl po špatně načasovaném 4betu Fernanda Curta. <\/p>

Po raisovací válce s Curtem vyhrál Geilich snadno velký pot s esy proti soupeřově páru šestek, pro něž neměl dealer tentokrát pochopení.<\/p>

Jak se hráčské pole úžilo a ve hře zbývali poslední tři hráči, pojistil si Geilich po dohodě s ostatními hráči minimálně €116,000 a pak už jen přihlížel, jak Pablo Rojas vyřazuje Kamila Hrabiu.<\/p>

Poté už Geilichovi stál v cestě za dalšími €14,000 a jeho první UKIPT trofejí pouze jeden soupeř. Slávu a odměny mu nakonec přinesly devítky, které udržely proti Rojasově kombinaci \"Qs\"\"Jc\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Hráči na WSOP se často musí potýkat s pocity zklamání a smutku, ale takové emoce jsou naprosto nevýznamné oproti osudu, se kterými se momentálně potýká Kevin \"Phwap\" Boudreau. <\/p>

Boudreau, známá tvář v pokerové komunitě, byl v sobotu o přestávce $3,000 Mixed Max eventu převezen do nemocnice. <\/p>

Náhlá krevní sraženina na mozku přinutila doktory uvést Kevina do komatu, který má pomoci stabilizovat jeho stav. Zděšeni jsou samozřejmě nejen jeho blízcí přátelé Peter Jetten a Tom \"durrrr\" Dwan. <\/p>

Mnoho známých tváří vyjádřilo během včerejšího dne Kevinovi podporu na Twitteru, včetně Jettena, který napsal:<\/p>

\"[Kevin] má velmi velkou krevní sraženinu na mozku. Pravděpodobně bude na jednotce intenzivní péče několik týdnů, doktoři říkají, že to nevypadá dobře<\/em>.\"<\/p>

Ještě před několika dny vypadal Kevin zdravě a produkoval video blogy o WSOP. <\/p>

Včerejší $1.10 NLHE turbo rebuy přilákal za virtuální pokerové stoly skvělých 568 hráčů. <\/p>

Po 633 rebuyích a 380 add-onech konečně dospěl turnaj do závěrečné fáze a když došlo na udílení medailí, byl to německý hráč jopan111, kterému tento cenný kov jen o kousek unikl.<\/p>

Přestože se mu podařilo prokousat mezi finálovou čtyřku, musel se nakonec jopan111 spokojit se čtvrtým místem a $133. Díky tomu se mohl \"Goburei\" posunout na třetí místo s odměnou $252 a bronzovou medailí pro Japonsko. <\/p>

Při dvou zbývajících hráčích byl turnaj předčasně ukončen, když killyourself61 z Běloruska přiměl bulharského hráče \"VaNkaTa!112\" přijmout druhé místo a $342, zatímco on si připsal zlato a $470.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
